Welcome to the Department of Power Electronics of TUB!
Power semiconductors, power electronic circuits as well as their control and applications are our primary research and teaching interests. We offer a number of undergraduate courses on the basics of power electronics for students from the fields of power engineering and automation. Our graduate courses are intended to deepen the understanding of power electronic circuits and semiconductors as well as their applications. We make use of courses with large share of projects and seminars to foster practical experience and independence of our students. Information on the courses we currently offer can be found here.
